About the Fellowship
The purpose of this program is to nurture a new generation of cybersecurity educators primed to impart their expertise within the community college realm. By combining a comprehensive orientation workshop, intensive boot camp, and real-world teaching assistant experience, the initiative equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel as cybersecurity educators. The aim is to bridge the gap between cybersecurity professionals and eager learners, fostering a robust educational ecosystem. The program empowers enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about teaching and preparing future cybersecurity leaders. Ultimately, the goal is to create a well-prepared, motivated cadre of educators who can guide and inspire the cybersecurity professionals of the future, ensuring a strong and secure digital landscape for all.
Who was this for?
Open to college/university students in their final year of or recently graduated with a bachelor or master’s degree in cybersecurity and are interested in exploring the career path of teaching cybersecurity in a community college setting. This workshop is not for current cybersecurity college/university faculty.
