DESCRIPTION:This course is organized through Madison Area Technical College. Please email Ken McCullough to register. Registration deadline is June 10\, 2020. \n\nNOTE: This class will be broadcast live via WebEx – attendees should expect to login in to the class and participate at the times scheduled. \nDescription: The second course in the CCNA curriculum focuses on switching technologies and router operations that support small-to-medium business networks and includes wireless local area networks (WLANs) and security concepts. Students learn key switching and routing concepts. They can perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting\, identify and mitigate LAN security threats\, and configure and secure a basic WLAN. \nThis class will cover some new topics that were not part of the previous CCNA curriculum\, so it is recommended even for those people that have prior NetAcad experience. \nPrerequisite: Concepts covered in CCNA 1 classes or prior networking experience.
