SUMMARY:Scripting for Cyber Professionals PowerShell/Python
DESCRIPTION:Course Description:\nThis workshop is for CAE members only. You must be affiliated with a CAE institution to register. \nThis 4-day introductory scripting workshop will dedicate two days to the Python programming language and two days to the PoweShell scripting language. \n\nPython topics include: \n\nBasic programming techniques\nI/O\nData processing\nFile manipulation\nProgram control logic\nFunctions\nModules\nException handling\n\nWe additionally cover port scanning web scraping and web api interaction. \nPowerShell topics include:  \n\n\nBasics of cmdlets\nWorking with classes and objects\nSetting up interfaces\nInteracting with the filesystem\nRemote Connections\nFile Transfer\n\n\n \nNOTE: This workshop will be broadcast live via Zoom – attendees should expect to login in to the workshop and participate at the times scheduled (4hrs per day – 9:00AM – 1:00PM CDT). \nJune 10th\, 11th\, 17th\, 18th (4-day workshop over two weeks) \n  \n\nAbout the Instructors:\n \nMike Masino has been an Information Technology instructor at Madison Area Technical College since 2004. This course’s focus is on the training needs of high school IT faculty although it will also be open to College IT faculty.
