About the 2025 Midwest CCDC
Colleges and universities from across the Midwest are bringing together their top tech talent to compete in the Midwest Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (MWCCDC). Teams of students from two- and four-year institutions will face off by building and defending mock business infrastructures. Their challenge? To protect their systems from professional “hackers” who are tasked with taking them offline and breaching their security.
While teams work tirelessly to fend off these cyber-attacks, competition judges will introduce additional network enhancement and upgrade challenges, assessing the teams’ performance and contributing to the overall scoring and event success.
The excitement is building across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin as applications roll in. This competition offers students a unique, hands-on opportunity to develop critical skills that will propel their careers—no prior competition experience required.
