Registration and Competition Process
Click here to apply and secure your spot on the 2026 state competition roster.
School teams must first compete at the state level. State CCDC champions will advance to the 2027 Erich J. Spengler Midwest Regional CCDC, held at Purdue University Northwest on March 19-20, 2027. The winner of the Midwest CCDC will then move on to the National CCDC, taking place May 7-8, 2027.
Please note, only one application per team is required, and each campus may only send one team to compete. After submitting your application, your Midwest State CCDC Director will reach out with further details. No prior competition experience is necessary.
Teams are responsible for covering their own travel expenses. A $500 entry fee is required for teams advancing to the 2027 Midwest CCDC.
MWCCDC Invitationals
The MWCCDC Consortium will host a series of CCDC Invitationals, with two competitions scheduled on each date listed above. Teams from all NCCDC regions are welcome to participate and may register for multiple invitationals using the registration link above.
Registration Fee: $100 per invitational
Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
MWCCDC Invitationals offer a less formal, practice-oriented competition environment designed to help teams gain valuable CCDC experience, develop their skills, and prepare for future competitions.
Why Participate?
The Midwest CCDC events not only benefit the students involved, but will also benefit corporations as these graduates will be bringing a more experienced skill set to their jobs upon beginning their employment. This competition also provides direct feedback for schools to exercise, reinforce, and examine their security and information technology curriculum.
